Phil Wickham is entering a new territory in his career as a voice actor. The singer is a part of the cast for the new animated feature film from Angel Studios, DAVID, which is set to release nationwide in theaters on December 19th. The film also features Lauren Daigle and Brian Stivale. Included in the film will be new original songs featuring the cast.
Michael W. Smith and Chris Brown of Elevation Worship have teamed up to release a new version of “Agnus Dei.” The duet is a part of a new project called House of Worship, which will feature songs from 25 renowned artists. The House of Worship album will be released on January 23rd. Pre-orders are available now.

Lecrae has announced a new book of poems and essays, called Set Me Free: The Good News of God’s Relentless Pursuit. Lecrae posted a clip talking about the new book on his social media, saying, “I spent a lot of years trapped trying to prove my worth – to the world, the church, even to myself. But freedom isn’t something you earn. It’s already been given. Set Me Free is my story told in poems and essays – of how grace found me when I was still fighting for approval.” The book hits shelves on December 2nd and is available for preorder now.
CeCe Winans and Steven Curtis Chapman have teamed up to rerelease a Christmas song they recorded together 30 years ago. “Christmas Is All In The Heart” is out now. Chapman shared on social media saying, “I got to record this song 30 years ago with the one and only CeCe Winans and somehow, by God’s goodness and grace, I got to sing and record it again all these years later with that same amazing lady who still has one of the most beautiful hearts and voices of anyone on the planet!” A special music video is available on Chapman’s YouTube channel.
