Mandisa passes
GRAMMY-winning artist Mandisa passed away at her home in Nashville on Thursday, April 18, 2024. The cause of death is not yet known.
Mandisa came to national attention on Season 5 of American Idol. Her debut album True Beauty was released in 2007. Overcomer, which she released in 2013, earned her numerous accolades including a series of appearances on Good Morning America. Mandisa’s final collection of all-new musical material, Out of the Dark, was released in 2017.
